Three 12-Year-Olds Charged With Threating Silver Trail Middle School

Three Silver Trail Middle School students are under arrest after they're accused of making threats against their school over Snapchat.

School staffers called Pembroke Pines Police yesterday after seeing the concerning conversation.

The 12-year-olds are all charged with making a written threat to do bodily harm or commit an act of terrorism.

One child faces an additional 2nd degree felony charge.

Investigators say there is no active or on-going threat to the campus.

Parents are being told to speak to their kids about making threats, and the severe consequences that will follow.
