A Final Farewell To Former Congresswoman Carrie Meek

Elected officials joining family and friends to say their goodbyes to South Florida Congresswoman Carrie Meek, who died last week at the age of 95. Former President Bill Clinton says she mastered the workings of Congress and knew how to get things done. Meek was 66-years-old when she won the 1992 Democratic congressional primary in Miami-Dade as one of the first African-Americans from Florida to win a seat in Congress. She left Congress in 2003 to make room for her son Kendrick Meek.
