Fired Florida deputy extorts nude man over crypto deal gone wrong

A Florida corrections deputy has been charged after he allegedly held a naked man at gunpoint and threatened to send incriminating video to his family and church over a cryptocurrency investment gone wrong.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, on November 19th, 2021, an unidentified 34-year-old man met up to have sex with a 19-year-old woman at a rented home in Orlando after sharing intimate messages with her.

The woman greeted the victim at the door of the home and welcomed him inside a dark room with two beds.

As the two were about to get intimate, Brevard County Sheriff's correctional officer Amony Robillard emerged from behind the curtains and pointed two guns at the victim.

Robillard told the victim to drink a male enhancement drink called “towo” and eat a “maggii” bouillon cube, before placing five condoms in front of the victim while filming him.

Robillard told the victim he was going to show the world he was paying prostitutes for sex unless the victim paid Robillard back, after the victim suggested Robillard invest $2,000 into a cryptocurrency company that “tanked."

Videos on Robillard’s cell phone showed him pointing a gun at the man and threatening his life multiple times as he sat naked on the bed.

Robillard was fired by BCSO after being charged with robbery with a firearm, extortion with a weapon, and false imprisonment with a weapon by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office on November 27th.

In addition to his work as a corrections officer, Robillard is also known in Central Florida as a radio show host for Panick FM 99.9′s Love Connection under the name “Tchooby.”

Rollibard’s Facebook page also identifies him as a U.S. Army veteran sergeant and a member of the Army National Guard.

The fired corrections deputy has entered a written plea of not guilty, and he remains jailed without bond.
