Adults arrested after attempt to fight students at Florida High School

Four adults were arrested after they tried to fight students at a South Florida high school.

Miami-Dade Schools Police swarmed the campus of Miami Central High School on Tuesday and placed multiple people under arrest.

District officials confirmed a group of adults tried to get on campus to fight students, resulting in the arrest of four people.

Police have not released the identities of the four people who were arrested, nor have they confirmed if they are parents of students at the school.

Concerned parents rushed to the campus after learning about the fight.

Parent Gizzelle Lampley’s said her daughter was caught up in the chaos, telling Local 10 News her daughter “was jumped, she was assaulted by grown-ups on school campus. This school needs more security. It’s no reason why you got grown people trying to jump children at school. Where is the protection? Where the protection at?”

Lampley’s daughter Tyreiasha told the news outlet she was attacked by adults when “they thought I was involved, and they attacked me. This is my senior year, and I’m supposed to be graduating this year. All my mother wants is for me to walk across the stage, and I come to school to get jumped by grown people.”
