The Heat nearly blew a 19-point lead but held on for a 103-102 win over the Pistons to begin the season in Miami. Bam Adebayo dropped in 22 points and Jimmy Butler had 19 to go with 13 rebounds for the Heat. Tyler Herro donated 16 points in the victory.
