Lightning Fall To Predators In Second Game of Back-to-Back

The Nashville Predators (14-12-0) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (12-11-5) 5-1 on Thursday night in Nashville. In the loss Nikita Kucherov saw his point streak end at eleven games.

Alex Barre-Boulet gave the Lightning a lead when he scored on a slapshot at the 13:32 mark of the first period. Nashville tied it later in the first before scoring two in both the second and third period to take control of the game.

Jonas Johansson got the start in net in the second game of a back-to-back and saved 25 of the 29 shots he faced.

The Lightning now head west, where they will be in Seattle on Saturday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Kraken is scheduled for 10:00 PM on Saturday night.
