Stamkos Hat Trick Leads Lightning To Win Over Blue Jackets

The Tampa Bay Lightning (44-27-7) defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets (26-41-12) 5-2 on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena. The Lightning are now 11-2-1 in their past fourteen games.

Steven Stamkos had a hat trick, his second of the year, to lead the way - he has now scored in his last six games. Brayden Point and Anthony Cirelli also scored for the Lightning, while goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy went 30-of-32 in net.

The Lightning are next in action when they host Ottawa on Thursday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Senators is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Amalie Arena on Thursday.
