After weeks of speculation about the future of former Saints Head Coach Sean Payton, it has been revealed that he will be taking over the head coaching duties in Denver for the Broncos next season. As details emerge and Broncos fans work themselves into a frenzy, Covino & Rich counsel those fans to rein in their excitement. After all, it’s not like Payton has a handful of rings and the Broncos were knocking on the door of the Super Bowl this season. They were one of the worst teams in the league and Payton only has the one championship. Perhaps cautious optimism is the best plan here.
