The news came out over the weekend that the Jags are looking to trade Leonard Fournette, while his career has been mildly disappointing when you compare what he's done to our expectations for him coming out of LSU...there's no denying he's been a super productive RB.
Fournette has been in the league for 3 years and has eclipsed 1k yards rushing twice. Last year was his most productive on the ground, running for over 1,100 yards, while also coming down with a career high 76 receptions. All-in-all, Fournette accounted for over 1,600 yards in 2019. He's still got a ways to go to prove that he was worthy of the #4 pick in 2017, but there's no denying what he's been able to do in just 3 years with an overall bad team.
Here are the teams that I could see possibly making a deal for Fournette:
- Steelers
- Bucs
- Dolphins
- Bears
- Chiefs
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jaguars have found “no takers yet” for the on-the-block running back. More here.
