Race Isn’t Why Eric Bieniemy Won’t Get the USC Job

Being USC’s head coach is one of the most coveted jobs in college football and Doug Gottlieb explains the real reasons why Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy likely won’t be considered for the position. It has absolutely nothing to do with race and everything to do with Bieniemy’s checkered history when he was at the University of Colorado. While the issues with the Buffalo’s program weren’t necessarily all on him, the scandal has followed him and makes it unlikely that he’ll be strongly considered by any college program anytime soon.

Doug Gottlieb: “The likelihood that (Eric Bieniemy) would be a candidate for the USC job is very remote considering what happened at Colorado…I would be stunned, very surprised, if he’s a legitimate candidate for the USC job.”
