Veteran sport talk show host, Carl ‘The Foss’ Foster, host and creator of The Morning Bullpen launched right here on 940am over a decade ago with co-host, Anita Marks, the first female sports talk co-host in South Florida, are teaming up again to return to the South Florida airwaves October 1, 2018, with their entertaining, informative, opinionated and insightful sports chatter.

A 7-year decorated USAF Vietnam veteran, was trained as a broadcast journalist for the American Forces Radio and Televsion (AFRTS) attending DINFOS training at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indiana, back in the mid-70s. (A career featured by Robin Williams in movie “Good Morning Vietnam”)

One of America’s few female reporters who had a successful sports career before switching over to sports journalism. Before launching a career in journalism, Anita was a member of a professional football team. While at the university, she was also part of her school’s football team. Her football career, which got into full swing in 2000, saw her play in collegiate flag football and other championships. Marks announced her retirement from the world of women’s football in 2004 after a successful four-year career.
She began pursuing opportunities in broadcasting immediately after she retired from women’s football. Her first job was as the morning co-host with Carl ‘The Foss’ Foster and The Morning Bullpen airing on 940FoxSports and 1400ESPN Radio. After several years in Miami, she moved to Baltimore-based sports radio station – The Fan – where she worked as the host of sports talk for fifteen years covering the Baltimore Ravens and hosting fantasy sports shows.
Over the course of Anita’s journalism career, she has hosted and co-hosted many shows and programs in mega global cable and satellite sports television channels. She is notable for her role in the following TV channels; MASN (host of Fantasy Blitz), MSG Network, My9, WWOR-TV, WFAN Sports Radio (New York), SiriusXM, NBC Sports Radio, Bloomberg Sports (fantasy football analyst) and several others. She has been with 98.7 FM ESPN in New York since 2015 as a weekend sportstalk host.
