Since the year 2010 the Dolphins have been the definition of mediocre or even worse, claiming a record of 80-101. Also since the year 2010 the Dolphins have scored less than 20 points in 49% of their games. A franchise in the NFL can not sustain winning in this league with almost half their games scoring less than 20 points.
Week 5 of the NFL saw the Phins going into the 4th quarter with a 14 point lead and 15 minutes of regulation to go into next week at a 4-1 clip and leading the AFC East. Instead the Dolphins let the Bengals score 24 unanswered points in the 4th alone leading to a Loss at Cincinnati
Ryan Tannehill was mediocre going 20/35 and 185 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. The last interception being a costly pick six in the fourth quarter letting the Bengals tie up the game.
Finally Kenyon Drake had a productive game but mostly through the air with 7 receptions and for 69 years. He also had six carries for 46 yards.
The Defense played well too giving up only 3 points through 3 quarters on the road but alas it wasn't enough to stop for Andy Dalton and the Bengals.
The Dolphins now come home to face the Bears after losing 2 straight Road games.
Will the Dolphins right the ship?
Only time will tell
